  1. Arrrrrrgh, aye, with every new DSM release, it seems to be harder and harder to get rid of the many indexing/thumbnailing systems and subsystems that DSM launches. And those indexes are starting to pop up all over the place — and as a consequence, the many @eaDirs tend to grow and grow…

    Thanks for the compilation of useful articles, I hope that a few of those will help me to stop all indexing…

    1. When I create file lists of the NAS (both QNAP and Synology), I do a search and recursive delete of the @eaDir and @__thumb (QNAP) folders. I also delete all .streams folders during the list creation.
